Working Principle
Dusty Air Entry: The dust-laden air is drawn into the baghouse, usually by a large fan.
Filtration: The air passes through fabric filter bags arranged in rows and mounted vertically inside the baghouse.
Dust Capture: Dust particles are trapped on the exterior surface of the filter bags, while clean air passes through the filter material and exits the system.
Cleaning: As dust accumulates on the bags, it increases the pressure drop. Bags are periodically cleaned using a pulse jet cleaning system, where short bursts of compressed air are injected into the bags to dislodge the dust.
Dust Removal: The dislodged dust falls into a collection hopper at the bottom of the baghouse, where it can be removed for disposal or further processing.
